Storyline :KAAL is an introspective journey into the lives of four women who are trapped in the world of human trafficking because of poverty. They are lured by an agent who promises them a better life in a distant city. Betrayed in love and let down by family members, they change their names and sneak into a metropolis.
The real drama unfolds when the young women, utterly lost in the city's glitter and glamor, become call-girls for the sake of survival. Slowly their dreams change, they now hunger for more money in the new environment. Four girls are abducted in various ways by the local middleman Ratan (Rudranil Ghosh). They are assembled at a remote place on the border of the village. The girls depart to Kolkata by different routes with various agents. On arriving, they are taken to the business headquarters and Ratan takes his payment from the boss of the racket, who is a woman. Ranidi (the boss, played by Sandhya Shetty) grooms the depressed and oppressed girls and gives them a complete make over in a short time

storyline :
Kolkata-based Sheela Bhowmik feels isolated and neglected, and decides to leave her busy film-maker husband, Raja, to spend sometime with her friend, Renu, her mom, and then subsequently travels to Kashmir to spend some time by herself. Raja gets involved in a new movie depicting the life of Gautam Buddh, and is on the look-out for a male child to play the character. He does find one, a young school-going lad, Abhirup Mitra; introduces him to the Producer, Vikram; as well as other crew including beautiful Anjali, who has a crush on Raja. Storyline :
The final lap in this lyrical but contrived tale of unfufilled love shows two women coming together after the tragic death of the man they both loved. One, the Japanese wife of the title, the other a silent widow of meagre means. This story of a long-distance 'marriage' between a Bengali bhadra-lok from rural Bengal Snehmoy (Rahul Bose) and his Japanese pen-pal Miyage (Chigusa Takaku) suffers from an incurable disease known as Inherent Silliness. Based on a true story by Kunal Basu, this is the ultimate non-romance between two people who thoroughly deserve each other. They're both so annoying and outdated in their naivete, you see! The couple married to each other for over 15 years never meets and barely speaks to each other on the phone a few times (talk about phoney relationships, this one takes the cake). When Miyage falls ill in Japan Snehmoy goes to the doctor in Kolkata with her medical reports...

Storyline :
Abohomaan tells the story of Aniket, one of the finest filmmakers of Bengal in eastern India and the loves of his life. Devoted to his craft, Aniket met and fell in love with his wife Deepti, an actress, while they worked together on the set of a film. They were so in love that Deepti sacrificed her own career for her husband's and for their son Apratim, but lost a little of who she was in the process. The plot thickens when Aniket auditions a young actress, Shikha, who bares an uncanny resemblance to his wife when she was younger. Deepti enthusiastically begins to coach Shikha for her husband's film - so much so that Shikha becomes even more like the girl Deepti used to be and as a result the aging Aniket falls in love with Shikha, a woman as young as his son, despite the sadness and trouble it brings to his family.

The magically musical duo of Goopy Gyne and Bagha Byne make a comeback in this sequel, where they are invited to the court of the Hirak Raja (The Diamond King), for their musical skills. They are to perform at the kingdom's Jubilee Celebrations.
Goopy and Bagha are bored with their lives as crown princes of Shundi and Halla. They are looking for a change, which comes in the form of a chance to visit Hirak Rajya(Land of Diamonds), known for its huge diamond mines. They jocundly set out for Hirak Rajya. But little do they know of the mechanitions of Hirok Raja (Utpal Dutt). The king is a tyrant. Diamonds and riches get pent up in his treasuries, while his subjects starve and suffer. Those who protest, are taken care of in the 'Jantarmantar', a chamber for brainwashing devised by the scientist (Santosh Dutta), whose full name is Gobeshok Gobochondro Gyanotirtho Gyanorotno Gyanambudhi Gyanochuramoni. His ministers are mere puppets. The only enemy the king has in his land is Udayan Pandit (Soumitra Chatterjee). He is a local school teacher, but more than that he is a believer of values. The king forcefully closes his school down. Udayan flees to hide in the mountains. Meanwhile, Goopy and Bagha are on their way to Hirok Rajya. By coincidence, they meet Udayan, who intimates them of the king's true nature. The two impress Udayan with their magical powers, who plans to use them against the tyrant. Goopy and Bagha agree. The duo then head into Hirok Rajya, where they are welcomed with grandeur. They entertain the rogue king, but also start plotting the overthrow, by brainwashing the king himself. They rob the treasury (which incidentally was guarded by a tiger), for bribing the guards. But the king has his tricks too. He captures Udayan and all his students, and takes them to the Jantarmantar for 'processing'. But Goopy Bagha have already reached there using their magical powers. They have also bribed the Gobeshok into their side, along with the guards. On reaching the Laboratory, the king and his ministers are stunned magically by Goopy's singing, and then pushed into the Jantarmantar.
